Betty K.

Betty has always loved animals. Even at a young age she would look after any animal that was orphaned or sick. She was quite involved with dog rescues and when she moved to a new state last year, she knew she wanted to continue with rescuing animals. Betty visited a wildlife rescue and fell in love. She began volunteering and never looked back. She says that just knowing that you are making a difference with these wild animals (owls, hawks, fox, pelicans, tortoises, squirrels, bunnies, racoons etc.) is the best. "The greatest feeling ever is when you release them back to the wild where they belong. It really makes my heart happy."
