I first became aware of wildlife rehabbing when I was job hunting, and I took a position of Volunteer Manager at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley in San Jose, California. Although my time there was short it changed my life forever. When I moved home to Texas I researched local wildlife rehabilitators to volunteer. I became involved with the North Texas Wildlife Center in 2016 and cannot imagine ever leaving this organization! Every year we continue to grow and now take in over a 1000 animals each year. We run solely on individual donations and are currently in search of potential corporate sponsors to help us assist both more animals and our community.
