I've had a huge heart for animals ever since I was a little girl; I would always rescue hurt animals and try to nurse them back to health. As I grew older, my passion for helping these sweet angels only grew stronger and more intense. I reached out to a local wildlife rehabilitator and asked her what an internship would entail, figuring I could potentially start in a year or two. To my great excitement, I was able to sign on that same month.

I believe that EVERY life matters, even the smallest, seemingly most insignificant one. It is my life's calling to help as many of these precious animals as possible and to educate people on their roles in the environment and their intrinsic value as living beings.
