My natural love for all animals is what got me into rehabbing. Maybe it’s a baby robin that falls out of a nest in the backyard, or perhaps a few opossum joeys left orphaned after their mother gets struck by a car or eaten by a coyote, or perchance a nest of squirrel kits was blown from a tree in a hurricane. When wild animals appear to be in distress, I intervene to rescue them.
