I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I originally started volunteering with a local vet’s office during my freshman year of high school, but it was a little bit heavy on the daily/persistent trauma for 14-year-old so he recommended I get involved in wildlife rehab instead. It has been a joy and passion for me since (and I’m currently working on my 21st year)! I especially prefer to help the animals that some may overlook as rodents or too much effort/expense as I genuinely believe that every life is valuable and should get the best opportunity available.
