My son found an injured baby squirrel and didn’t know what to do with it. He called me since I had taken in babies before. When he brought the baby to me it was very small, cold and weak. I didn’t know what to do with one so small. I researched everything I could on line and started taking care of him. He wasn’t doing well so I called around to veterinarians in my area for help and finally was told to contact the squirrel refuge in Vancouver, Washington. I took the baby to them and ended up doing training to become a rehabber for squirrels. This is something that I love doing and plan to continue rehabbing baby squirrels for a long time.
