I’ve always had a love for animals. I started by rescuing and transporting wildlife in my area. I quickly realized that I wanted to do more. I got to know some of the local rehabbers and learned the requirements for my state. After many hours of studying and remodeling an area of my home, I finally did it. I received my wildlife rehabilitator permit. I’ve rehabbed many animals, and opossums have become my favorite. They are a very misunderstood yet very beneficial animal to our ecosystem.
