I have always been passionate about wildlife. I have been an animal care specialist at a nature center for the last five years. I care for non releasable wildlife who are animal ambassadors and educate the public. I wanted to do more, so I reached out to local rehabbers to help train me to rehab wildlife for release. I want to help wildlife recover from what has affected them, and get them back to the wild to live a wild life. I hope to be able to start taking in rehab patients by 2024. I will be spending this year working with various rehabbers in my area and soaking up their knowledge and expertise.
