I became a rehabber by accident 18 years ago when my neighbor, in a panic, brought me an injured squirrel. I have successfully rehabbed/raised/released turtles, birds, snakes, cats and squirrels. I often pick up babies in need, stabilize with meds and pass off to other rehabbers when they have an opening. This incubator would allow me to temporarily rehab many more animals than what I can currently handle with a simple bin and heating pad. The extra built-in safety features of the humidity display and temperature alarm gives me much peace of mind because it allows for a more accurate visual assessment without disturbing the babies. I live in Texas where hurricanes are common, and these incubators are a necessity for taking in the most fragile babies to get them warmed quickly. They're pricey, but they will allow me to help many more animals for years to come! I can't help but think of all the animals I could have saved over the years had I had something like this.
