During my second year in a PreVeterinary Program, I switched paths. Now, after a fulfilling career of 42 years of caring for my patients as a Registered Dental Hygienist, I am returning to my first love, caring for animals. The pandemic was a Kickstart to what was always in the back of my mind. When our state offered the course and Wildlife rehabber test online, I didn't hesitate, as this was my opportunity to act. Coincidence put me in touch with a nearby rehabber, willing to mentor, so here I go. I only hope I can make a difference to all in my care.
