I have always loved helping animals. After high school, I obtained my Veterinary Technician license and worked as a vet tech for about 10 years with domestic pets. I always wanted to work with wildlife and/or exotics but did not have the opportunity. Due to many different circumstances, my field of work changed. Leaving the veterinary field, I greatly missed working with animals and decided to take the Wildlife Rehabilitator test and apply for licensure. Just recently, I became licensed as an assistant rabies vector species rehabilitator. Working with orphaned and sick wildlife has made me realize how important an incubator is. I believe the survival rate of animals I take into care would increase with the help of an incubator.
