I live in a very rural area in Virginia. I worked with domestic animals through rescue and fostering for about 10 years. I've always had such a love for wildlife, and I found that there was such a need for help in my area. I began doing rescue and transport of wildlife with great mentors, but quickly realized I needed to be hands on as a rehabber two years ago. As a rehabber of small mammals, fawns, and rabies vector animals, my way of warming the babies has always been with a heating pad. As the volume increases, I'm finding that they just don't warm well, and the time has come that incubators are necessary to properly care for the babies. We are all volunteer, and the expense of an incubator is just out of reach. Donations would be greatly appreciated.
