I lost my spouse a year ago and needed something to keep me busy. Knowing Connie Hiebert for many years I called her and she convinced me to try volunteering with her at Second Chance Wildlife. Once I started it was a life changing positive thing for me. These little ones filled a void and gave me a whole new purpose in life. I am blessed to be able to help these little babies. I love what we do!

My grandchildren are all grown but one live lives with me to help me as I am disabled. My life was with my spouse for 30 years and it revolved around grandchildren, camping, and fishing.
