I have wanted to work with wildlife virtually my entire life, but that was not really an option available to me growing up. I started financially supporting All Things Wild Rehabilitation several years ago, but I was only able to start volunteering once COVID hit and I was home. I absolutely love working with babies, especially small ones, and also with injured animals, and it is THE MOST fulfilling feeling when one is released back into the wild! I truly feel this is a real "calling" for me, one that the Lord has blessed. Nothing makes me as happy as being a steward of His little creatures, whether furry, feathered, or scaly. Working with lots of babies, having the incubator to more easily regulate temperature would really be a huge asset.
