This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Series II Baby Warm model
I got into rehabbing after having to retire from my real estate career due to an adrenal tumor and subsequent operation. I was left unable to work, but a friend who was a wildlife rehabber was looking for volunteers to help her. I have loved animals all my life and had admired the work she did with animals and I jumped at the chance to help her. I started with opossum’s, then squirrels, then raccoons. I used a homemade incubator made from a Rubbermaid container with ventilation holes drilled in the top and a heating pad underneath half of the bottom. Working with animals from tiny newborn’s through til they’re old enough to be released into the wild is so rewarding and I can’t imagine my life now without it. God has a way of placing the right people in the right place at the right time to be used to care for His creation. I’m just thankful He chose me to play a small part. It has been such a blessing to me each and every time I release a healthy animal back into the wild.
