I stumbled upon a baby squirrel on a sidewalk, only a few weeks old. Mom never came to the rescue so I rescued and rehabbed it and nursed it to good health. It brought me great happiness being able to care for this young infant. I was already a vet tech for dogs/cats and when I reached out to my local rescue about my current situation I was thrilled to know I could help out many more wildlife in need.
