I've always had a passion for helping others and for working with animals, so after retiring from the Air Force in the fall of 2023, I was finally able to pursue my dream. Last year, I was connected with a local wildlife rehab group and the impact was immediate! I was surrounded by amazing people with kind hearts and what seemed like an endless influx of animals in need. As a first-year, I was supplied with the basics and a zeal to go at it with boots to the ground! Lol We were always busy, and I was tested physically, mentally, and emotionally. Much knowledge was gained, and as I move now into my second year, my goal is to be more adequately prepared for what is to come. Spring is just around the corner and babies will be arriving before we know it. Having a professional incubator will not only save lives, but it will allow me and my team to function at a greater and more efficient capacity.
