My passion for animals started young. We always had pets and often encountered wild animals while camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. In 7th grade I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian. I read all the books I could find on animal care and went to college to be a vet tech. However, life got in the way and I wasn’t able to complete my degree. There’s been a piece missing for me for a while. Getting into rehabbing has made me complete and is a dream come true. A way to give back to nature and work with incredible animals everyday.
