I’ve always been fascinated by small animals, but my journey into wildlife rehabilitation truly began when a very sick squirrel approached me in my driveway. I didn’t know what to do until someone recommended the RI Wildlife Clinic. The moment I discovered a place dedicated to helping injured and orphaned wildlife, I knew I wanted to be hands-on in caring for these animals. That experience opened my eyes to the urgent need for wildlife rehab, and from then on, I was determined to be part of the solution. Now I get to raise all sorts of wild babies and release them into their natural environment.
