Pamela M.
Pamela's chosen carrier was as a science teacher. She worked at the high school level teaching biology, earth science and environmental science for 33 years and was always interested in animals and the environment. She had cared for animals over the years but everything changed when a student brought four baby starlings in to school. Pamela agreed to take care of them, researched how to do it, and learned about wildlife rehabbers at the same time. She successfully released the four starlings and began preparing to get her license to rehab animals. After a few years of working with mammals , she also obtained her federal bird license. Pamela enjoys helping injured and orphaned wildlife, as well as educating the public about wildlife. An incubator will be a huge help to her in saving orphaned baby wildlife.
