Colleen has been in the animal field in some capacity almost her entire life. When she left her job at the zoo, she missed the bats that she had cared for. Over the next several years she came to realize that although she no longer worked with them in a professional capacity, she could still have an impact on their lives. Colleen became certified as a wildlife rehabber and has been helping sick, injured and orphaned bats ever since. She says that she is truly grateful for the opportunity to give back to nature some of its most precious gifts.
