Ashley has always been an animal lover. She grew up in the country with lots of wildlife and always had a love for it. When she was a teenager, she found baby squirrels screaming for mom and ended up raising them and releasing them back into the wild once they were old enough. That's when she began to really love wildlife rehabbing, especially squirrels. Here and there over the years, Ashley would get calls from friends who had found babies that mom never came back for. She would always take them in, raise and release them. A few years ago, Ashley began volunteering for a wildlife rehabilitation organization and she has been helping animals ever since. She says that her love for the wildlife rehabilitation world has grown even more and she loves to see amazing people everywhere saving wildlife.
