When Claire was a kid, she was always dragging home stray animals. Her parents were remarkably tolerant and her dad would even drive her to the local feed store that sold baby quail. The store handed over the sickly hatchlings to Claire to take care of. With the help of some feed and a heat lamp purchased by her dad, Claire set the babies up in her room and saved as many as she could. As an adult, neighborhood kids would bring her injured chipmunks, squirrels, bats and possums. Claire's need to save the critters has never left her as she took in prairie dogs, volunteered at the humane society, and now does all she can to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife. An incubator will help her save the most fragile babies.
