It all started with an infant mouse Alison rescued from her cat. She was pleasantly surprised to learn that there were specific care guidelines to help and save the little guy. Alison was hooked! She sought to learn all she could about wildlife rehabilitation by attending symposiums, studying on her own, joining a local wildlife organization and being guided by a mentor. Alison now specializes in raccoons but also cares for bunnies, tree squirrels, ground squirrels, opossums, mice, and songbirds, in addition to providing emergency and stabilization care for raptors such as hawks, owls, and kestrels. An incubator will be such a huge help to Alison as she cares for the most fragile baby wildlife.
