Marcy's grandfather always fed wildlife and she shared his love of animals. Once she was married and had a home of her own, people started calling her with found, injured, or orphaned animals, both domestic and wild. In Marcy's location, she and her husband are the only rehabbers who will take a raccoon in their entire county, and her organization is the only one in several counties and hundreds of miles that will take a raccoon. Marcy says that caring for wildlife is her heart. Four years ago she and her husband and bought a home on 15 acres of woods with the vision of rehabbing, getting licensed, and establishing a critical care center. They're half way there. An incubator will help Marcy care for the most fragile babies.
