Debbie W.

$475 of $475 raised

Debbie first started rehabbing when she found a baby bird and brought it to Napa Wildlife Rescue to be cared for 27 years ago. At that time she thought it would be great to volunteer for a shift and feed baby birds. In 2010 the organization was in need of squirrel rehabbers and Debbie was asked if she wanted to rehab baby squirrels. She was addicted after rehabbing her first baby squirrel and has been involved ever since. In the years that followed, she has taken many classes and seven years ago, she became the team leader for squirrels. Debbie is truly passionate about rehabbing all types of wildlife and giving them a second chance. She also loves learning about nature and its beauty, and all the benefits wildlife provides. She has found that rehabbing wildlife has given her a deeper understanding and respect for our universe.
