Elyse H.
This incubator campaign was for the Petiatric model
Like most, if not all, rehabbers, Elyse has always had a heart for animals. She was the person who would stop traffic to let a group of baby ducks cross the highway or do a u-turn to rescue an injured animal on the side of the road. She was always making a trip to her vet's office on behalf of her "rescue of the month". It was Elyse's vet who encouraged her to get her license to rehab. Ten years and heaven knows how many cottontails later, she is still in love with rehabbing, taking in about 250 each year, mostly cottontails and squirrels, as well as the occasional pigeon. She also rescues pelicans in distress and transports them to a local rehabber who specializes in waterbirds. As if the animals don't keep her busy enough, Elyse is also involved with the organization Wildlife Response.
