Jennifer has always taken care of animals. She rescued a horribly injured Texas Alligator Lizard when she was in college and was able to nurse him back to health. She also rescued sparrows, cottontail bunnies, and then finally when her daughter found an orphaned baby squirrel, Jennifer found out about Wildlife Rehab of Greenville. She joined the group, fell in love with squirrels even more, and was so happy to find great people who could help her become a great rehabber. Although it's only Jennifer's first official year as a wildlife rehabber, she cares for squirrels, bunnies and possums, and she couldn't be more at home in her new role helping the animals she loves so much.
