When a man showed up at Dreama's door with 3 baby squirrels in hand, she took them in and found the Blackhawk Wildlife Rehabilitation Project. She has been caring for wildlife ever since. Almost 11 years later, she helps squirrels, minks, bunnies, songbirds and just about any other critter that needs her - about 125 animals every year. Rehabbing in Dreama's house is a family activity with everybody helping out, including her husband designing and constructing nestboxes for release. This is truly a family devoted to helping animals. The man who arrived on Dreama's doorstep with babies all those years ago sure picked the right house.
