Holly was chosen by two injured opossums to be their rescuers, two nights in a row. She has always loved and helped animals but those two nights changed her life, opened her eyes to the need for rehabbers, introduced her to rehabbers in her area, and inspired her to become a wildlife rehabber herself. Currently in her first year of rehabbing, Holly cares for all mammals but primarily Flying Squirrels, Eastern Gray Squirrels and Opossums. After the flooding in her area, she finds that she is rehabbing more than sleeping these days. She's so appreciative of the generosity of others, and loves seeing how the rehabbers have all pulled together to deal with this crisis.
