Carol D.
This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Baby Warm Extra model
While working as a United States Postal Service Mail Carrier, Carol found a baby squirrel. Upon arriving home she called the local zoo and asked for help. Between the instructions from the zoo and Carol's internet searches, "Sissy" was successfully raised and released back into the wild. Carol had caught the rehabbing bug so she went to training classes, obtained her license, stopped working for USPS and became a full time in home rehabber. She now cares for squirrels, bunnies, opossums and flying squirrels -- about 125 each year. Now in her 9th year as a rehabber, Carol loves doing all she can for animals in need and also teaching her grandchildren to love and respect wildlife. Carol was one of the coordinators and the delivery person for the Saving the SC Storm Squirrels effort. She says that meeting and assisting her southern rehabbing neighbors was a highlight of 2015 for her.
