Karen S.
This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Baby Warm Extra model
After studying microbiology, Karen trained as a Med Tech then joined the Peace Corps and went to Chile. She created a microbiology lab and trained students from the University of Chile, then continued her training role once she returned home. She worked in Public Health until about 1998, then her life changed from human caregiving to animals. She volunteered conducting nature programs and then working with animals at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum and later Shasta Wildlife Rescue. Now with her own permit, Karen cares for all birds from the tiniest hummingbirds to Great-horned Owls, and mammals as small as bats all the way to coyote pups -- about 100 every year. She's fortunate to have family members who share her love of animals.
