As a child, Lisa was always interested in animals and wanted to be a wildlife vet. Near the end of high school, she volunteered at a wildlife rehab facility and loved the challenge of working with injured and orphaned wildlife. 22 years later she's still saving animals - rabbits, squirrels, woodchucks, songbirds, raptors and reptiles - as many as 1000 each year. She and her husband met while working together saving wildlife and had two children with the hopes of creating future wildlife rehabbers :) Lisa is co-founder of Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
