Teresa S.

Teresa started volunteering at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station and has not left since. She walked through the doors without any wildlife rehab experience at all but did all she could to help and learn, eventually becoming the Rehabilitation Manager. She now cares for opossums, squirrels, other mammals, and mostly birds - often more than 2000 each year. It's a job that has taken her from not knowing what she wanted to do with her life to now knowing exactly where she belongs. Teresa says that without a doubt, she was meant to be the Pelican Lady.
