Shelly has always felt the need to help animals - especially the ones not seen as "likable" by the general public, such as rats and opossums. She now does fostering for the South Florida Wildlife Center, taking care of babies that come in too young for their nursery - squirrels, opossums, rats, turtles and rabbits. Many of these babies need to be fed throughout the night - often every two hours or they wouldn't survive. It's a tiring job but one Shelly could never stop doing. She loves helping them survive and make it back to the wild where they belong. When Shelly's not helping animals, she's drawing them! She's an artist specializing in wildlife.
