Christine H.

Since a young age, Christine has always been interested in animals and knew she wanted to work with wildlife for a living. When her sister found an injured pigeon, Christine brought it to the Wild Bird Care Centre in Ottawa and immediately fell in love with wildlife rehabilitation. She began working at the facility every summer, finished her studies in Biology, and is now a full time staff member. Christine helps all wild bird species, about 2700 each year. She's still as in love with wildlife rehabilitation as she was the first day she walked through the door.
