Ingrid has always been passionate about animals but when she discovered an injured bird and found help at Wildlife Haven Waterloo, she knew she had to volunteer. It has now been two years and she assists in the care of birds, squirrels, groundhogs, and porcupines like Gussie who was rescued by the animal sanctuary Happily Ever Esther. Ingrid especially loves caring for the orphaned babies that arrive each spring and says that a day spent with the animals is beyond rewarding. Her spare time is devoted to helping animals in any way possible.
