Brandy has always loved nature and believes that wild animals belong in the wild. After realizing that there aren't any rehabbers in the 11 southeast counties in her home state, she knew she had to do something. Using her experience with animals and connections with local veterinarians, she put her skills to use and became a wildlife rehabber. Brandy now helps injured and orphaned squirrels, opossums and raccoons. She loves that, in addition to rehabilitating animals, she also has the opportunity to educate people about the importance of wildlife.
