Lisa has always been interested in wildlife. In 1992, her friend found out about a wildlife rehab organization that was just getting started. Lisa signed up and has been caring for animals ever since -- hawks, owls, fox, skunk, bobcat, herons, rabbits, squirrels and other critters in need of a helping hand. Rehabilitating wildlife has also led her to a career in the veterinary field. In 2003 she graduated, passed the national exam, and became a licensed veterinary technician. Lisa says that helping all animals has been her calling and she wouldn't want to change anything!
