Melanie met a rehabber connected to her local vet school. With the rehabber's guidance, Melanie trained in wildlife care (especially opossums), volunteered at a wildlife rehab facility, and got her own permit. She says that working with wildlife is the most rewarding and interesting thing she has ever done. An incubator will be a huge help to Melanie in saving in the most fragile babies.
