Marisa G.
Marisa has always loved the environment and has a long history of volunteering for environmental organizations. When she moved to NY several years ago, she had a budding interest in birds and bird watching. This newfound interest led her to a love of shorebirds and the possibility of joining a volunteer shorebird banding program. While investigating programs in her area, she thankfully stumbled upon the Audubon Sharon and their Rehab Center. The idea of working with sick, injured, and orphaned birds was an instant attraction for her. From day one, Marisa has loved every moment of her rehabbing experience. After a year of volunteering weekly at the Audubon, she has taken the next step and registered to become a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in NY. We'd love for her to have a Baby Warm incubator to help with the most fragile babies.
