Diane was a vet tech for over 12 years. She became interested in wildlife when community members would bring the injured or orphaned wildlife into the clinic and all local rehabbers were full. Diane started caring for the animals at the clinic while they waited for availability with someone certified but there weren't enough people who would tube feed tiny opossums. Diane fell in love with helping them and has been rehabbing ever since. She's also a certified special education teacher and shares her love of wildlife rehabbing with her children, their schools, and her own students. It isn't just about rehabbing for Diane. It's also about educating the new generations to love and respect all wildlife.
