Rachel G.

Rachel's mom loved all animals and passed on her love of animals both wild and mild. They never were able to rehab wildlife together but had planned on it some day. She had wanted to rehab skunks and Rachel wanted to work with raccoons and squirrels. Rachel knows that they would have been an awesome team had her mom lived long enough to volunteer. In 2001, Rachel transported some baby squirrels to a wildlife center and started to volunteer soon after. She just retired from 32 years as a firefighter and wants to concentrate all her efforts on rescuing wildlife. An incubator will help her care for the most fragile orphaned babies.
