Melissa works in the veterinary field part-time. Often orphans and injured wildlife are brought in and their only option was euthanasia. Melissa wanted to help the poor creatures so she began assisting a licensed rehabilitator. After meeting a paralyzed opossums, she was inspired to do some research and was absolutely intrigued. She has been caring for wildlife ever since, as well as doing wildlife informational presentations for schools and scouts. An incubator will be a huge help to Melissa in saving the most fragile babies.
