Christine S.
In 2015 Christine's co-worker found a small mammal on a sidewalk while walking her dog. They were not able to identify the little guy due to its extremely small size and their lack of knowledge but they believed it was an opossum that fell out of its mother pouch. They immediately tried, unsuccessfully, to find a rehabber to take the little guy. Christine decided to take on the task of caring for the baby that turned out to be a squirrel. She read every bit of information she could find and was successful in raising little one until he could be released, and even followed him for a bit afterwards. Christine was hooked and immediately started her rehabber research. She took the class, passed the exam and currently volunteers taking care of injured and orphaned animals. An incubator will be a huge help to Christine with the most fragile babies.
