Growing up surrounded by people who have deep love for all facets of nature has allowed Margaret to be a life long wildlife appreciater. Her summers were spent on the Mississippi river with her father, learning bird calls, or exploring the water ways of her grandfather's Wisconsin game farm. As a vet tech, rescuer, and professional "bird nerd", people have been bringing Margaret injuried wildlife as long as she can remember. After her formal education she became a licensed rehabber, thanks to the guidance of many wonderful mentors. Now as a zoo educator, she has the opportunity to discuss wildlife, endangered species, current ecological challenges and more with hundreds of people a day. She accept intakes from the public as well as several organizations. An incubator will give the most fragile babies the best possible chance of survival and making it back to the wild.
