Carmarita B.

$475 of $475 raised

Carmarita's life of working with animals started very young. Her father trained and showed dogs and he started teaching Carmarita when she was barely walking and talking. Growing up, she always brought home any animal that needed help which, to her mom's dismay, included snakes and spiders. Her mom once said that one day Carmarita was going to bring home some form of furry wildlife and now she is completely correct! A friend asked Carmarita if she wanted to help a local rehabber feed baby raccoons and she was curious. She did her first feeding and had her heart stolen by the little bandit masked babies. After that, Carmarita spent many hours volunteering and knew she had found her passion. Now an apprentice, she has four raccoon babies in her personal care and also helps take care of squirrels and opossums. Carmarita is also working towards her Veterinarian Technician degree which will help her take even better care of her wildlife charges. Let's get her the incubator she needs to care for the most fragile babies.
