As a lifelong animal rights advocate and Master Wildlife Conservationist, Anna was a CT wildlife transporter for 1 1/2 years, and domestic volunteer. She found a baby squirrel at lunch one day and called a friend who referred her to wildlife rehabber. After taking orphaned squirrel to the rehabber, Anna asked how she could become a wildlife rehabber herself. She apprenticed then obtained her license in 7/17, and along the way she fell in love with squirrels and possums. Her mentor gave her two fish tanks and heating pads for make-shift incubators, but she knows that an incubator will really help her save the most fragile babies.
