How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
It is a constant struggle to monitor and control temperature and humidity with pinky/baby squirrels. The incubator allows you to keep them just where they need to be in order to survive and grow into health adults.
How will this additional incubator help?
I frequently have to transport babies I have in rehab with me to work and other places to care for during the day. This would allow me to keep them at the appropriate temperature on those days when I have to take them with me. It would also help when transporting babies that need extra care to the Wildlife Center (2 hours away) and to other rehabbers. It would also be very beneficial when I receive animals during the day when I am at work, it would give them a warm and safe place until I can get them home. (Currently I rely on the seat warmer in my vehicle, rice bags or sometimes, closely monitored, hot hands.)
