How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
We’ve used our incubator for young baby birds that can’t self-regulate to adults that are comprised. We’ve used it for mammals that are unconscious and couldn’t move on and off a heat source. Having an overall heat helps to stabilize our patients. We love our incubator.
How will this additional incubator help?
We have volunteers that drive far distances for rescues and don’t have great methods to maintain heat- especially for really young animals. Heat is critical in the health of our unstable patients and will help in treating the animal sooner at the Wildlife care centre as we don’t have to wait for them to warm up and start immediately hydrating.
